Transport Description
Wigston Couriers was first set up in 1986 by
Carl Smith and operated by his wife until 1988 when the company went
full time. It became Wigston Courier Services Limited in 1995. Over the
years, the fleet of vehicles has increased to include escort, small and
large transits, 7.5 tonne, 18 tonne and Artic vehicles. The fleet now totals 36 vehicles of various
sizes. The company has gradually increased the size of their premises
due to storage demands. The son, Wayne has been with the company since 1991 and is now a director of the company and in charge of transport. We offer a full range of vehicles including escort, small and large transit. 7.5 tonne, 18 tonne and artic vehicles. Curtain-siders, box vehicles and tail-lifts are available.
